Family Caregiver Support
Through
One-on-One Coaching

When you’re acting as a family caregiver, support, guidance and encouragement are vital.

Those who provide family caregiver support are at greater risk for developing mental and physical health problems themselves. Our work together not only helps to prevent that, it helps improve the immediate situation and your response to it.

Through coaching you gain peace of mind and a new sense of direction and purpose. Your problems, concerns and worries are confidential and you can feel free to speak candidly about whatever is on your mind.

Having a trusted resource and confidant to help you sort things out and deal with the thorny issues that come up is a vital component of family caregiver support. It’s time that you took care of yourself as you fulfill your important role.

"Dr. Peeples has helped me out of the quagmire I was stuck in. I now have a sense of direction, purpose and a vision for my future. I have accomplished the goals I set for myself.”

~ Janet R.

Here’s how it works:

  • Free Initial Consultation. All clients begin by taking advantage of my 30-Minute sample session by phone, during which you and I can see if we are a good match and can work well together.

  • 3 One-Hour Sessions per month. If you decide to hire me, I provide three sixty minute sessions per month for a flat fee of $600.00. This is payable in full at the beginning of each month by credit card. You may choose to discontinue the service at the end of any month.

Getting Started.

After your free sample session, you will receive an e-mail with important information and a form to complete prior to our first session. During our first session we will answer any remaining questions you have about coaching and family caregiver support, and also discuss the activities that I have e-mailed to you. Together we will determine a schedule for our sessions that is convenient for both of us.

Each scheduled session is dedicated to working on what is most important for you as a family caregiver, or other issues that come up. You will call in for each session at the designated time, and you are expected to reserve the time for our session so that it is free from interruptions, background noises, etc. This is your time, and it is up to you to use all of it, part of it or none of it.

With 24 hours advance notice you may cancel an appointment and re-schedule a session. There will be no charge for this. However, if you do not call in at the designated time or provide the 24 hour advance notice, you will be charged for that session. Also, if you call in late for your appointment, only the remaining time allotted for that session can be utilized. Your monthly fee is for the sessions that we have scheduled in advance.

Maximizing Your Experience.

If at any time you do not feel that you that are receiving the value you desire, I strongly encourage you to raise the issue immediately. I’m confident that we can improve the situation. This has rarely been a problem, since at the end of each session I will ask you what worked best for you, what was most helpful during that session and what was not so helpful. In this way, we can make sure we are hitting the mark and that you are maximizing the benefits of your coaching experience as family caregiver support.

Your Satisfaction.

One advantage of my approach is that unlike many coaches, I do not require you to pay for a three to six month coaching “package” in advance. I charge by the month, so that if you feel that coaching is not for you, you are under no obligation to continue beyond what you have paid for that month.
